Assistive Robotics

Objectivos

At the Assistive Robotics Lab we develop exoskeletons and orthotic robotic devices to promote human physical augmentation. Our approach is based on observations of human performance through the eyes of systems theory and the development of bioinspired models and control laws dynamically compatible with the biological counterpart. A key driver of our research is to uncover the understanding of leg neuromechanics in walking and running resulting in generalized models for human gait.
