Objectivos
At the Surgical Robotics Lab we integrate compliant robotic arms with preoperative and intraoperative imaging modalities to create surgical planning systems, intraoperative navigation and co-manipulation and tele-manipulation surgical assistance systems. Our efforts extend from new forms of image to image and image to patient registration, to physical surgeon-robot interaction, to patient-robot interaction. Our research is supported by close collaborations with medical specialties such as Neurosurgery, Urology and Orthopedics.
